Just another Saturday

We needed to get out of the house on Saturday, but stay warm at the same time. Bowling. The obvious choice, heh.

Then, we drove to the Rainforest Cafe for some french fries and cheap entertainment. :)

Off to the 'beach'

The boys wanted to go to the beach today, so we bundled up, packed some snacks and headed out to Ocean Shores. It was about 40 degrees out there, but sunny. Still... brrrr. :)

Ok, so I know this is ugly but... aren't the colors sort of 'ugly cool', too? heh

I call this one "Invasion." Intimidating, no? :) Though maybe it is more of a retreat since it's going the wrong way... hehI just like Matthew's posture as he gazes at the water. He loves the ocean too.

Looks sort of dangerous, doesn't it? If it isn't dangerous, it's just not worth it!

Fog & pink sparkly journals

We had this nice sunny day and then about 2pm, this strange fog rolled in. Weird huh?


And I found this too funny. The boys each were allowed to pick out a new journal for 2009, and this is the one Jake picked. He just HAD to have it. "Oh mom, that is THE one!!!!" He writes in it every day. He is very secure in his masculinity.
