Bonds Instantly

For my non-Facebook audience, it has been requested I share photos of my super glue experience today.

So, when I tried to attach my 2009 tab to my rear license plate, it was wet or dirty or something and lost all its stick. On top of that, somehow it tore in half. Instead of hassling with the Dept of Licensing, I had a really good idea. I was at the gas station returning some Red Box videos and thought hey, I'll check in here.

It seemed like fate - I had two bucks in my pocket and the glue came to $1.27 - their last bottle. It was meant to be!

But when I pierced the bottle, the watery glue exploded and went everywhere. And boy does that stuff bond fast! Instantly, even.

I sat in my car with two pieces of the tab glued to two fingers on my left hand, and the bottle of glue attached to the middle finger of my right. I nestled the cell phone between my shoulder and head and laughed until I cried as I talked to my friend to explain my predicament. He seemed to get a kick out of it as well...

Finally, I had to go to WalMart because I didn't have any anti-superglue materials at home. I had a flock of 5 associates laughing and following me around, but finally we found some acetone stuff for fake nails.

After 30 minutes soaking, it finally started to pull up at the sides. But I am proud to say, that tab is stuck very tightly to the back of my car now! :)
